Executive summary
Irina Smirnova has been working in finance and economics since 1996. She joined Unicon in 2006 and now heads audits of telecom, media and high-tech companies and entertainment business.
At Unicon, she mainly focuses on management of projects for consolidation and transformation of financial statements, comprehensive audit projects (including audit of financial statements prepared under international and Russian standards), as well as consulting and support to companies in preparation for IPO, analysis and optimisation of organisational and financial structuring of client companies.
For publicly owned companies, Irina implements special purposes projects entailing reviews of proper spending of budget funds, as well as audit and elaboration of long-term development programs.
Both, major market players (including publicly owned companies) and start-ups are among Irina’s clients.
